2007 SATAI Fall Conference
SATAI (Southwestern Association of Technical Accident Investigators) is in San Diego for the Fall Conference.
November 2 & 3rd, 2007. Topics will include:
- "Appropriate Application of Momentum Analysis in Traffic Accidents" (Gary Cooper)
- "Common Errors in Post-Impact Trajectories - How to Spot Them and Avoid Them" (Bruno Schmidt, Ph.D.)
- "Understanding Newton's Laws - Going Beyond the Equations" (Bruno Schmidt, Ph.D.)
- "New Developments in Event Data Recorders: Preview of Next CDR Release with Ford PCM and More" (Richard Ruth, P.E.)
- "Inspection of Rollover Vehicles" (Don Stevens)
I attended Gary Cooper's presentation this morning and found his speaking method clear and entertaining. The content was informative and a good review of the math and techniques involved with this type of speed calculation.
